AJ Corcino

Paugassett Lodge, Housatonic Council

AJ Corcino has been an active scouter for most of his life. Since the age of 6, his drive has been fueled for the yearning for leadership, and the guidance of his parents, and has promoted the scouting ideals since. AJ is a Life Scout, and is the Lodge Chief of Paugassett Lodge. He is the current SPL of Troop 28 in Shelton, CT. AJ is on staff for Connecticut Yankee Council’s National Youth Leadership Training, and seeks to teach younger youth about the values and ideals of leadership. AJ has attended the 2017 National Jamboree, NOAC 2018, and 2019 World Scout Jamboree, where he has learned a lot about scouting around the world. Out of scouting, AJ is part of the Oxford High Football team, the Oxford Wolverines, and is a member of the debate team, Pre-Med club, and student council. To AJ, scouting helps create most of the values and ideals in his life, and his goal as Lodge Chief, is to spread brotherhood, and cheerfulness within everyone, OA or not.
