Recently Released Dungeon Finder Tool – One of the Best Feature Released Since Wrath of the Lich King
In patch 3.3, Blizzard introduced the cross-realm dungeon finder to much fanfare. Using the dungeon finder, you can queue up for any level-appropriate dungeon, either selectively or randomly. You can choose to queue as a damage dealer, tank, healer, or any combination thereof as long as your class is capable of it.
As an additional change, they have removed the heroic dungeon dailies. For those of you using a WoW daily quests guide, instead of doing the dungeon daily you will want to queue for a random dungeon using the tool. As a sort of unforeseen extra, the random heroic doesn’t count towards your 25 alotted WoW dailies.
The cross-realm mechanic allows for extremely quick queues in comparison to before. Healers and tanks have near instant queues, and DPS classes usually only have to wait about 10 minutes. I’m a huge fan of this new tool, and if the message boards are anything to go by, so is everyone else.
